We have so many cute coffee shops in Loudoun, and yet I keep going back to the big chains out of sheer convenience. What are your favorite coffee shops in Loudoun that I should try, and what is it you like about it (atmosphere? service? convenience? a particular drink?)

It's back again! Our favorite adoption promo of the year - PIES AND PETS! Confused? Read on - cats, dogs, buns, pie and fee waived adoptions await!

Once again we find ourselves with many adult pets looking for homes, and we're seeing the length of time the animals spend here at the shelter continuing to increase. So from Friday, November 17th to Sunday, November 19th, we are waiving adoption fees for all pets over 1 year old!

Here is the pie portion of this concept - we want our pets to find loving homes so badly, that we are going to be baking homemade pies (pumpkin or caramel apple) and delivering them on Thanksgiving to any family in Loudoun who adopts an adult pet from 11/17-11/19!

The bakers on our team will be hard at work Wednesday night baking away (once again we’re taking over our director’s house for this pie-stravaganza) so come in before the holiday to bring home a best friend and reserve your dessert baked by animal-loving shelter staff! A new family pet, a delicious dessert, and some very thankful LCAS staff- what more is there to be thankful for?
